It’s hard to come down from high positions of power. Maybe that was the straw.
I live in a very popular white water rafting area near Coloma in N. California and know some of the guides who take people down the American River here. One day, before he was The Governator, Arnie took the trip. According to the guide, he was quite the obnoxious, rude celebrity, berating other rafters because of their body shapes and so on. Granted, that’s second hand information but I never liked the guy after I heard that.
I suspect they’ve been in trouble for a while. I think that her parking in red zones and other blatant disregard for minor laws were passive aggressive swipes at him.

It’s not easy to have two cyborgs in the same household, having to share the same power supply, disagreeing about the merits of Wireless USB vs. Bluetooth, and fighting over who gets to carry the phased plasma rifle on Thursday. There is also the difficulty in homologation between TUV and UL safety and grounding provisions that can often create fundamental requirement disconnects between units built in different countries. One can only imagine the confusion of children trying to respond to incompatible communication protocols and firmware architectures, so this may be all for the best.
