I think I understand what is being said above—I guess that Arnold was never too much of a “family-values” Biblethumper politician, for the most part, and in fact wasn’t he pretty liberal for a Republican, overall?
Still, he is a nasty, arrogant piece of work, and I hope that he will be roasted alive by the talk show hosts and late-night comics in the days, weeks and months to cum.
He’s more libertarian-- liberal on social issues, but conservative on economic ones.

Though he did veto gay marriage when the legislature approved it. Then later came out in full favor of it.

If the story about her being married is true, I wonder how they knew it was Arnold’s kid. Not that I can’t think of ways they would know, but I wonder what the real story is.

I hadn’t realized how big that vase was at first but seeing it with floor slats as a reference suggests it’s about 3’ tall or so. That’s some big ugly.

While I am sure that many Dopers will find it crass and vulgar of me to say, I am willing to point out that the “other woman” is pig-ugly, and I wonder if that is even more of a slap in the face to Maria Shriver (who is at least somewhat attractive, even if in an unconventional way) that her husband cheated with such a revolting, hideous lowlife.
I am not saying she is a lowlife because she is morbidly obese and utterly disgusting in appearance; I think she is a lowlife for having an affair with a married man while living under the same roof as him, his wife and their young children. She was not a naive innocent, tricked by slick predator pretending to be single, or taken by some singles-bar Casanova who fed her a line about how he and his wife were on the rocks, and were separated pending a divorce. She knowingly fucked a married man, under his wife’s (her employer) nose , and I am not going to shy away from calling her a slatternly whore.
Of course, I fully acknowledge that Aryan Asshole Arnold has more personal responsibility for this sad, tawdry situation than anyone else in the world, and I think it would be perfectly fitting if he was photographically paired-up with his Walmart-quality “conquest” in every photo printed of him (in an inset picture) from here on out.
