Well, it was fifteen years and at least one pregnancy ago. A lot of us are probably a less fetching in our late fourites then early thirties.
And yea, that kid looks exactly like you’d think a young latino Arnold would look.

Actually looks depend a lot on bone structure also - some women like Sophia Loren stay looking fine, others spud out at about 35. My mom, who comes from a much different time [born in 1923] would probably say something along the lines of “well, you know how it is, some people are like that, they look young for years then they get old suddenly, and others get old fast” and she would be meaning how oriental women seem to stay looking young until they hit their 50s and 60s then they almost instantly do the wrinkled apple look, or how italian and spanish women are beautiful when young then poof go fat and frumpy in their mid 30s. [and I have noticed that this seems to hinge on bone structure and the ability to diet and exercise as opposed to working class poor who may have a non optimal starchy diet, work in smoky or chemical laden environments and have non desk jobs- as i have seen the same in pretty much ever ‘race’]

I’m actually surprised about this; I thought Arnold would ‘play by the rules’ and have enough self-control to stop himself if he were tempted to stray - his whole life has been so controlled otherwise.
It’s also surprising that he managed to keep it a secret for so long.

Apparently in addition to being physically revolting, (obese and pig-ugly is actually putting it mildly, as several late-night talk show hosts have also pointed out) she is also a thief, as her ex-husband, (whom she was cheating on when she was fucking Arnold) has been paying child support for a kid that wasn’t his for the past 14 years.
I hope the ex sues Arnold in a civil court, so he can recoup some of the money he had to pay out for the child of a man who has made 100’s of millions of dollars in his lifetime, by “acting” in awful movies, while the cuckold was scraping by on a landscapers salary.

I’ve wondered if the kid has a father-son relationship with his mother’s ex. If he does then I hope that doesn’t change.

Any child born to a married couple is assumed, by law, to be the child of both parents. There might be some outs here and there, but I don’t this guy qualifies for them.

Legally, I am sure you are right, something that I learned about from reading various threads here on SDMB, but my guess is that if the ex-husband sues, Arnold will cut him a check ASAP, in an attempt to keep this sordid affair out of the news as much as possible in the future.
I would guess that a savvy lawyer would tell him to wait for a while, until the publicity dies down, and then file suit, to get the bottom-feeding tabloid media’s interest all revved up again, and then Arnold would probably be willing to pay off a settlement, in order to finally bury the story once and for all.
Of course, the above is just my own speculation, but as clearly Arnold is not hurting for $$$, I can easily imagine that it could work out for the ex.
Finally, I really do think this is a Goddamn shame, for the innocent child, for Arnold & Maria’s kids, and for Maria and the mistresses’ ex-husband, all of whom were fucked over by Arnold and his land-whale of a mistress.
