I have this friend who is 20 years old and just had a heart attack about 3 months ago. It was discovered that he had a blood clot as a result of Prothrombin Gene Mutation. He is now on Coumadin to thin his blood. Before his heart attack he was an avid marijuana and nicotien user. He has since not touched either drug. He will never smoke cigarettes but was wondering if there was any reason occasional marijuana use would be harmful. Instead of smoking, would ingesting marijuana(eating brownies etc) be safe for him?
