My father is currently fighting liver cancer. He doesn’t drink or do any hard drugs but he does smoke pot from time to time. I was just wondering if smoking pot might have a negative affect on his liver. I understand that the liver’s function is to remove toxins from the body and I assume that would include bud. So I don’t think that smoking is helping b/c it causes his liver to do extra work. But is it hurting at all. I know pot is believed by some to have medicinal uses so I figured it might acctually be helping. I really don’t know though. I have also heard that marijuana is helpful for people going through kemo. Is this true? Really I just want to know anything involving the affects of pot on the liver and it’s medicinal uses. Helpful links would be appreciated too. Thanks-me
