My wife is up to the NZ shop in London today. I must ask her for some more (real) marmite (actually labelled Promite to avoid copyright laws).

I am another Marmite baby - was brought up on Marmite soldiers and cheese-and-Marmite sammies. One of my more recent explorations into the Marmite cookery world was to make Marmite bread - I still haven’t got it quite right but it’s improving every time.
The idea is to use a pack of bread mix, substitute the water for a mixture of Marmite and warm milk. It comes out lovely although my oven appears not to be the best for baking bread.
Even the prospect of a northern hemisphere/southern hemisphere battle over edible axle grease substitute can’t get me going on a boring Christmas Eve at work.
<sigh>
Not that fond of cheese myself. Had Marmite on toast (no cheese) for breakfast this morning.
Anyone else make Marmite and lettuce sandwichs?

For Christ’s sake, if you want a ‘vicious tang’, get a stronger cheese. Not that West Midlands prank-gone-out-of-hand.
My sister got me this for my birthday. Marmite and cheese on toast is a staple.

My local mom-and-pop ice cream parlour made avacado ice cream… also, jackfruit and rose flavored ice creams.
Of course, they recently went out of business.
I wonder why?
Well, duh. It’s because they passed up the opportunity to premiere a durian flavor…
