Why was the length of Martha Stewart’s house arrest extended by 3 weeks? She’s a bad house keeper, and the judge wanted to punish her for that?

She violated the terms of her house arrest by going to a yoga class and the unauthorized use of an ATV on her estate.
I’m glad that her term has been extended. She seems to be an intelligent lady, now why couldn’t she use some of that intelligence to realize that when she is told the parameters of her house arrest, she has to follow them. She went to prison so she obviously doesn’t get special treatment for having knowing how to make a soufflé.
And really, she wasn’t exactly subtle about her outings, so what is she trying to prove? 
It’s fun to watch the rich get knocked down a bit 
She’s dangerous, that one is. They should never have let her out of the hoosgow.

Anyhoo, was the use of an ATV actually in her sentencing?
