With the passing of my mother I went and retrieved my comic book collection. It’s been fun rebagging them and seeing what I had. I haven’t bought a comic book since 1985. I have maybe 10 DC books and over 1,500 Marvel. Kind of an easy choice for me.
That was pretty interesting, thank you.
I liked Green Lantern as “interstellar cop” and the Arkham Batman games are amazing. I’d pick up the occasional Flash or Justice Society (For some reason I really liked Hourman and still do). But I’m mostly Marvel. Hell, I like Alpha Flight, and if that’s not a sign of a terminal case I don’t know what would be ![]()
Just a random comment. I always thought that DC had the best heroes, but Marvel had the best villains.
I’m a lifelong Marvel fan but holy crap, I didn’t know real Alpha Flight fans existed.
They will be back in just a few days:
I’ll admit I’ll avoid that recent storyline you mention where I guess they’re ordered to kick out any mutants. That just feels off to me.
I chose to keep Marvel just because of the movies. I like the MCU and the X-Men films more than Superman and Batman. (Though losing the first two Superman and first two Batman films would be painful.)
Am I the only one who would choose DC and Bizarro Clark Kent/Superman to defend us from aliens?
Bizarro would, of course, decide to be on the side of the aliens and not humanity, but would make so many mistakes and errors that the aliens would be doomed.
