“Even a clock that doesn’t run, …” etc etc.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say the Maddow interview was, like the ABC News interview I saw, filmed weeks ago and shown the other day, while the Cuomo interview was filmed days ago or maybe even the day it aired.
I plan to read the book, but in the ABC interview, her speech…was…so…slow, I almost nodded off.
I have a flat vocal sound. Mine is not affected.
She was on the Rachel Maddow Show a few days ago (and that interview was her highest-rated program, ever, and will be rerun this evening) and she’s not the best interviewee, but then again, she never expected to be placed in this position.
I saw the Cuomo interview, and just went back and found video of the Maddow interview. Looks like two different people.
I imagine studio lighting is going to be different that home lighting. And she’s wearing glasses.
CookingWithGas, thanks for posting those pix!
Web cams, phone cams, etc. frequently have smoothing filters on by default these days. Makes people look… plasticy. The right-hand picture definitely has something like that going on (not to mention the lighting tone).
Her face kinda creeps me out.
She looks scared.
I’m uneasy for her.
That was a bad combination of wardrobe and framing on Maddow.
She did not come across that way at all in the CNN interview I watched. She was very much at ease, confident, and conversational.
Looks virtually the same to me, with slight differences in lighting. The lighter-looking hair tends to make a woman look slightly younger. It appears that she’s lost weight - possibly due to the facial shadowing differences. Her body shape appears slimmer, too, but that could also be the outfit in the picture.
Maybe she wears the same glasses that Clark Kent wears. But I don’t see a lot of difference.
