North Alabama (near Huntsville) here. Governor has said Wear Masks (pretty please) and I am seeing more compliance these days at the stores…maybe 90%. Restaurants are open, but all that I have been to have practiced proper social distancing and all the servers have masks. Patrons…not so much.
100% during my grocery run this morning. Had to correct a couple of baggers about covering their noses with the mask, but they took it in stride. They were both former students, and as such are used to being berated by me for perceived transgressions.
Love this.
In my canton masks are only required on public transportation, and people are mostly compliant. However, as soon as they step off the train/bus/boat, they remove their masks, even though they are too close to other people.
I wore one to the grocery store and was the only one wearing one. Not even the people working there are wearing them.
Out of 410,000 people in the canton, we’ve had 839 people who tested positive and 20 people died. All of the cases I know of are in other cantons or other countries. Other cantons already require masks in all internal spaces, and are reporting good compliance.
I went to our local farmer’s market yesterday. It was fairly crowded, but people kept away from each other. I didn’t see anyone who wasn’t wearing a mask, and just about everyone was wearing them correctly.
UK - south of London. Masks in shops became mandatory a couple of days ago. I don’t often go to stores at the moment, for obvious reasons, but I went to 2 large ones today, a sports store and a supermarket (grocery): compliance 100% save for the odd jackass with their nose hanging out (very few, actually).
In the street, maybe 10% wearing masks. I don’t, but then I’m very careful about keeping my distance.
Here’s a summary of our current rules.

Same. Indoor mask wearing is pretty close to universal. People are doing a good job. Outside I’d say it’s close to 50-50, but with social distance generally being respected I think that’s perfectly reasonable, especially with the heat we’ve had. The only place where I’ve seen issues is at the lakefront where it looks a bit like spring break for some of the teens and 20 somethings. There’s also been a rash of out of control hotel parties within a segment of the population that seem to be causing all kinds of problems in addition to bad pandemic practices.
