She is hot, but Miranda is* curvy.*
You are objectively incorrect. Meer’s pretty good, but Hale is spectacular.
…Miranda’s body was based heavily on Strahovski’s. About the only difference is the hair color, because they thought black fit better with a femme fatale.
Except that Keith David did Anderson. Vin Diesel would be best, I think.
Maybe a person working in production was a fan of the series and sneak in a small Goliath statue in a scene with Captain Anderson (Keith David).
Also, Wrex with wings? That’s a scary thought!
Nah, you seem to be confused. Objective means “agrees with Finn”.
I know she was heavily based on Strahovski, but they ‘video gamed’ her up a lot. Meanwhile, Angelina is a walking video game character.
And yah, I know that Keith had another role in the actual game, but he’d be best as a monster.
That’d be very, very cool.
I hereby demand it.
But how cool would that be? Although, to be fair, then they’d have to add on half the cast of Star Trek: Next Gen, and that might be difficult…
This claims that, at the current stage of production, they’re planning on setting the movie during the First Contact War. If true, I would like to begin organizing a torches-and-pitchforks mob to descend upon the producers’ homes.
Although I do have to say, the author of that piece has done a lot more research than me to find characters to play the roles, and I like most of his pics. I’ve also become convinced that, okay, Miranda done by Strahowski is doable, she’s curvy enough and such… but she must dye her hair or risk death by rabid ferrets.
I couldn’t find the synopsis on imdb but I’m assuming it’s under imdbpro which I won’t bother. I’m assuming having the storyline start off during the First Contact War is to follow the convention of having that big opening battle. If this is true, I have no idea why they just couldn’t show the encounter where Shepherd’s squad was killed off by the thresher maw and how he survived it. If I were a screenwriter, I wouldn’t rely on The First Contact War as the start of the arc that Shepherd would overcome throughout the story.
As for Yvonne Strahowski as Miranda, she gets much approval. I doubt any movie will accurately translate every minute detail of a game and I’ve given up on it for quite some time. As long as the movie respects the source material I’m fine.
Seems like (some) limited progress is being made.
Not enough for my tastes, but it doesn’t strike me as vaporware… yet.
I suppose that the sales for ME3 will determine how fast they move forward on the movie.
Not sure if this is a whoosh or what, but that’s exactly what happened with Street Fighter.
