And according to Reddit at least, they found his “race replacement” manifesto online but it has since been taken down.
I just finished streaming on twitch a few hours ago (gaming with small group of friends) to catch this horrific news.
An 18 year old mass killer, live streaming his wanton slaughter of innocent people, proudly, to strangers on the internet. There’s little information available as of yet, but I think back to my thoughts during the last live-streamed mass killing.
Apparently, Tucker Carlson has talked about white replacement theory on about 300 of his episodes. [Citation needed]. If that’s true, he’s got a lot to answer for.
Early in the attack, a store security guard shot the perp but he was wearing body armor so that didn’t work. Then the perp killed the guard.

This is the idea that white people are losing economic, cultural, and political power to Black people and other people of color. The name is usually associated with a French agitator who argued in a 2011 book that immigrants were destroying European culture, but the theory that an “other” is destroying traditional society has roots stretching far back in European history. In the twenty-first century, that theory has launched right-wing political parties and shootings around the world.
We are told that the parents are “distraught and devastated”.
Well, golly. Did the kid buy a car and all those weapons by skimping on lunch money? When dressed in battle-ready gear did Mom say ‘He’s so cute!’. WTF did they think!
Now, now, I have it on the authority of a number of other threads that we can only blame the media for covering shit like this not for pouring the gas and throwing matches.
More like both shooters’ drivel were cribbed from right-wing sources. Apart from Carlson (The Daily Show has done a certain amount of work in linking his words to what’s in the manifestos), Elise Stefanik is getting dragged currently for her promotion of Great Replacement Theory rhetoric.
