Masters Week --- 2011!

I haven’t seen so much great golf being played in a long time. And I’m not talking only about Tiger.

I like Woods to win every year since I know it makes the founders there spin in their graves.

Incredible where Rory put his tee-shot on hole #10. Near Butler Cabin. I was thinking that he just got his swing together on hole #9. tournament is wide open. Look out for Oddjob (aka KJ Choi).

I dare say Rory might have melted down a bit.

This final day is hugely enjoyable, it’s got everything. How on earth did Rory end up between two houses? How’s that not OOB?

Tigers blows an eagle putt, but he’s now tied. If he can end up in the clubhouse at -11 or -12, he’ll be sitting pretty. -10 isn’t going to win tho.

Can’t believe those two duck hooks and the lumber number by McElroy on 10, but he just got within 6 feet on 11.

s there much OB on this course?

I can’t say I’ve never seen anyone melt down like Rory is, but this is one meltdown for the ages considering how well he did the first 3 days and going into Sunday with a 4 stroke lead.

Wow, Tiger found something!

Greg Norman: 1996 Masters. greatest meltdown ever, IMO.

This field has “playoff” written all over it.

Tiger is killing me here. So close!

Rory is getting to Greg Norman-ville after three putting 11 and 4 putting 12 from 15 ft. this might scar him for a long time, maybe forever. Hate to see it.

McElroy’s nerves are completely shot-he just 4 putted from 10 feet. Damned shame. Golden ray of hope: Tom Watson in the '75 tourney dumped 2 balls into the water on 16 (before Jack sank that famous putt), and he came back from that.

And he just dumped it into the creek at 13.

Putting a new definition for Greg Norman-esque collaspe.

What a Tournament. I am loving it. (except for Rory)

Poor McIlroy. His nerves are shot.

Remember earlier when one of the announcers said Ray’s Creek wasn’t really in play on this whole…?

Kids not even 22 and he’s in the last group in a major. If he was 35 and this happened I’d be worried. Kids bounce back.

Also, I’ve always been a big fan of Adam Scott. Glad he’s making an appearance.

Tiger in at 10 under. That’s not going to do it.

This is flat out the most interesting Masters Sunday I’ve ever seen.

Tiger is in, but -10 isn’t probably going to do it. If he made just one putt on the home nine he’d be looking rather pretty. Everybody else however now has a number to shoot at (or recoil from), and McElroy undoubtedly isn’t the only yippy guy out there right now, so we shall see.

High praise, Frank.
