I still remember one show where the clue was ‘Donkey [blank]’. Richard Dawson said to the contestant: ‘Say “Donkey Hoaty.”’ That’s probably why when I think of salmon, I always think ‘Salmon Ella’.
When I hear Salmon, I think “Chanted Evening”.

My first thought was “salmon ladder.” I know it’s a way to allow fish to get to a higher part of a river or stream, but what I thought of is one of the obstacles on the Sasuke/Ninja Warrior television competition.

Is this the main round or the bonus round where the contestant asks the celebrities for help in trying to match the audience’s choice? “Salmon” would be a very cruel choice for the bonus round as there is no straightforward answer, as none of the non-punny answers are exactly common phrases.
Going under the assumption this is the main round, my vote is “Ella”.
