Maui was good to me

I traveled to Maui last week and arrived back home a few days ago. The main purpose of the trip was to scatter my daughter’s ashes in the ocean on what would have been her 7th birthday.
My wife and I were able to to that. It was a peaceful thing we were able to do.
I also ate the equivalent of at least one can of spam in the form of musubi.
I drove to Hana. 100 miles of driving, no traffic lights.
I visited just a few friends.
I went by the old beach that my friends and I would spend the night. I leaned on a tree that I used to sleep under and listened for voices from the past. There were none.
Now I’m back.
Hope I haven’t missed anything too exciting.
