Huh, by coincidence I was just at a wedding in Pennsylvania this past Sunday. It was the sort of marriage which was legally recognized before this week, but I’m sure that my cousin will appreciate the auspiciousness of her timing.
Congratulations!

Congratulations!
Hurray! Congratulations! May your lives together be happy and long.
Mazel tov!
WOOHOO!!!
Congrats you two!!!
Congratulations!
So, if you’ve been together for eleven years then the major issues are already decided, like who does the lawn, or what side of the bed you sleep on, or who does the grocery shopping!
Congratulations!
Thanks, everyone! We appreciate the good wishes.
Outstanding! Here’s hoping we’ll someday get to a point where it will no longer be remarkable. Starting to look like we might.
Congratulations! I wish every happiness to you both!
Excellent news! Congratulations to you both!
Congrats JayJay! Excellent news and I hope you both every happiness.
Glad SpoilerVirgin posted the link to this in the Constitution thread.

Some places in the country are already there. Last week, I was substitute teaching a high school class, and two female students were making out in the room. Nobody commented at all.
In other classes I’ve taught, I’ve seen a student casually mention that he was gay with the response being “Huh, really? OK.”, and a student who was deeply offended at being called homophobic.
Now, admittedly, this is Lakewood, OH, which has been regarded as gay-friendly for decades. But it’s still impressive to see.
Mazel tov, you crazy kids.
Mazel tov!
May you have many times eleven years more together.
Congratulations!
May these 11 years turn into many more.
The bakery across the street from my mother’s has been selling same-sex wedding figurines for years. The first time my mother saw them I thought she was going to have a stroke. Last Sunday we saw a man and his mother picking several “possibles” so he could show his groom; once we left the store, Mom remarked that she thought he’d been very smart to discard a pair where one groom is carrying the other, “makes it look like they’re going to be patient and caretaker, not husbands!”
We’re getting there.
Yes it is. From 1974 to 2001 my wife and I lived in Hillcrest, San Diego’s longstanding gay community, where SS marriage would hardly have been noticed aside from the issue of WASP legality.
