On that day, 44 years ago, my fiance and I went to the court house and got our marriage license. about an hour or so later, Omaha was hit with an F4 tornado that did 250 million dollars in damage in the 18 minutes it was on the ground.
Our friends and family said in was an omen
Two_Many_Cats:

I know, right!
“The tornado turned out to be the best thing that happened that day.”
Congratulations! 44 years is impressive (in spite of the storm).

The smartest thing I have ever done was to marry the Incomparable Sunflower
So nice that you know this. And sweet, by the way. Make sure you tell her. Y’all have a special day!

A whirlwind romance.
Go to your room - you should be ashamed of yourself!
Ya know, the OP hasn’t said they are still married. Or that they got married at all, for that matter. We have made assumptions.
