May Favorite Part of Christmas is the presents Over the Tree

Well, not really, but evidently, with the tree upside-down, the presents are as far from the base of the trunk as they can get.
Too bad there’sd no pictures with this story. I’m having trouble visualizing it:

So, what, turning the tree upside down invokes Bad Santa?

:stuck_out_tongue:

Here’s an upside down tree!

And another!

And another!

They make me kind of dizzy.

upside down trees are rather popular amoung those with kitty cats (and other climbing pets). keeps them away from the ornaments and tinsle.

You know, for something so incredibly bizarre, that makes way too much logical sense. :dubious:

Merry smaX, everyone!

sewx hddey!

I love this idea! We’ve been wondering how our kitties and baby Bella will deal with the tree this year, and we really are low on space. Even a tabletop tree idea doesn’t sound so great, but I think we might be able to handle one hanging from the ceiling. We joked about hanging ours from the ceiling, but never thought about doing it upside down.

I’m a gonna do it!

I guess hanging the angel won’t work though. What could I put at the bottom, do ya think?

NPR did a story on this… yesterday? The day before? And I thought, “are these satanic Christmas trees? Like the upside-down cross hanging from the baby’s pram in Rosemary’s Baby?”

I had exactly the same thought. It’s the anti-tree!

If you put an upside down one and a right side up one in the same room do you get a tree/anti-tree annihilation?
