The best you could come up with (aside from the made up cites you got called out on) was one show that you admitted that you turned off and didn’t even watch.
So again, can you proved some sort of cite to “Nightline segment after dirty Nightline segment?” Or does your TV talk to you even after it’s turned off? You keep bringing up some sort of future courtroom battle between you and Koppel where you embarrass him and the rest ofthe new media. Five suspects arrested and charged” you’d probably have said “how awful” and moved on with your life. As would I and most others in the US. It’s not a compelling story, it has no elements of mystery or suspense. No child victims, no pregnant victims, no celebrities, no compelling evidence of a hate crime. About 75% of the parts of the story which make it outrageous and different from the other dozens of carjack/murder crimes which happen each year throughout the country aren’t true. So what makes this national newsworthy? And even if it should be newsworthy, why are you so invested in how the news organizations run their businesses? As long as the criminals are caught and prosecuted, that’s what I care about. Seeing it on the news is secondary to me to knowing the police and prosecutors are getting these criminals off the street and removing them as threats to the rest of the population. Why does publicizing this crime matter so much to you?
