Halloween is my favorite holiday, and those are my favorite blankets. They are so squishy and warm, and it’s going to get chilly soon so I thought the teeny kittehs could use them.
I found a couple of old fleece blankets for my stray kitten to sleep on, but she seemed to prefer a towel!
Cats is weird.
Heh… the eyes do give Tong a kind of wonky-adorable expression, like a cartoon kitty that has SEEN THINGS.
Everyone is doing good and we are going in for our first round of vaccinations next Friday morning. Three weeks after that we all get boosters and the mom cat gets spayed. Again, anybody who wants one just let me know. I’m willing to drive a bit to deliver them and they’ll hopefully all be vaxed and fixed by Christmas. Mom cat will go up on Craigslist and the local PAWS website the moment she gets out of surgery.
Meanwhile they are growing and looking healthy. The only issue Tong seems to have is that his wonky eye weeps a lot. I’m going to see if the vet can fix it surgically somehow, or maybe remove it if it’s going to be a source of chronic infections or something.
Everyone looks fat and glossy and bursting with health. You are a Triple-A cat mom, starwarsfreek!
Wow, they ARE shiny! Yay, healthy kitties! (I am not allowed to add to our household, or else I’d ask you where you are.)
UPDATE!
Mom cat got fixed this week. I’ve got ads in the paper for her to find a new home, already got some emails. Everybody wants kittens though, but my vet doesn’t want to start spaying and neutering them until they are officially 4 months old. They are adorablebeyond reason. There ought to be a law.
Aww, they’re all cute (kittens and Mom!) Glad to hear they’re doing so well!
