I have to say that the WTC memorial lights were a fab idea: simple, yet stunningly effective. Whoever dreamt that idea up deserves an extra helping of pudding.
BUT - Mayor Bloomberg’s performance at the memorial event was awful. That man’s public speaking skills are the pits. He comes across like that dull teacher out of the Ferris Bueller film: “We are here today to remember - anyone? anyone?”
