The Bears rehired McKeown, the back-up QB who was with them in training but not kept. Where has he been in the interim? Is there a training squad he could’ve been on? Was he playing semi-pro to keep in shape and ready?
It’s Josh McCown. And he was out of football and coaching quarterbacks at Marvin Ridge High School in Charlotte North Carolina. He apparently kept himself in good enough shape to get a contract from the Bears, but he wasn’t, as far as I could find, playing any semi-pro ball.
