I haven’t seen the commercial; but when I was a kid my dad would occasionally say “You better don’t!” I’m under the impression that “You better don’t” is a joke phrase, like “I shoulda stood in bed”. Until seeing this thread, I never heard of any racial connection.
Thank TF you! Can’t a black person do anything without being black to you people? A black person can make a language joke without it having anything to do with “ebonics”.
And you won’t see the commercial. They changed it now because everybody is stupid.
I am much more annoyed by the concept that possessing McD Chicken Selects turns you into a raving, paranoid lunatic. There’s no way I’d ever buy a food that does that. :eek:
I think it does make you paranoid, though. I was reading this thread and got confused, nay alarmed, when I saw responses to comments that didn’t exist! … Until the very aptly named Chronos explained what happened with the timestamps, that is. 
(BTW? Those chicken selects are freakin’ amazing. Try 'em with the ranch dressing, they’ll make your toes curl!)
They changed it to, “Ah sure does loves me some fried chickens, boss.”
I have seen another version where the flight attendant scoops up the chicken strips and dumps them in his trash bag, before she says the dreaded, “You better don’t!”
She just gives him a shocked look, as if to say, “How dare you throw away my chicken strips!” (as if it’s haute cuisine)
I wonder if they made the two versions, figuring people would be offended by the horrible grammar.
I thought the message was that the chicken strips are a cheap way to get very high. Just what do they put in the breading?
Actually, the government created the Mc Donald’s chicken strips to control the black population. By making them freak out at the thought of losing their chicken strips, the black population is now held by their very, very big balls by the government and its evil affliates - namely Mc Donalds.
