Mead people: bars and CO2

That’s probably braggot. Mead can simply be made with honey, water, and yeast. Other ones get fancier.

Acerglyn = maple
Bochet = carmelize the honey first
Cyser = honey and apple juice/apples
Melomel = honey and fruit (almost any kind, but see below)
Pyment = honey and grapes
Metheglin = honey and spices
And a bunch more, but those are the most common. I’ve only dabbled in homebrew mead, so can’t answer the OP’s question. I’ve got some bottles that I’m wondering if it’s not too early to crack. And have never been to a meadery, just a braggot specialized brewery and places that have bottled external mead. Most homebrewers make it still, or with natural bubbles.

Take it to Monterey?

In a losing battle, I am somewhat fundamentalist about how caramel should have 3 syllables and not 2. So that’s embarrassing.
