A lot of my work involves translating medical documents. The abundance of specialized terms means that the spell-check/grammar check is next to useless for its intended function, since I spend 95% of my time telling it to accept various medical words. I’m wondering if anyone’s aware of an add-on containing a good stock of medical vocabulary (especially drug names) that I could use.
I believe that both Dorland’s and Stedman’s both have medical spell checkers. I haven’t used them myself; I have just the regular Stedman’s electronic dictionary, which has served my purposes for a medical reference. I think DOrland’s is slightly more popular among medical editors.
