I was wondering if anybody out there could answer the following two medical questons. The first is that why is that a person can beat another person with soap in a sock and it will not leave a bruise. The second is is it true that if you stick a hampster up a human rectum, it will kill the person trying to get out. If the second one is true, just exactly why was that tried and how did the coroner explain the death? Keep in mind that I just have a curious mind and that I am in no way shape or form going to try either of these.
The first question is based on a false premise. Bruising will occur after assault with a soap bar in a sock.
As for the hamster in the rectum, that is a popular urban legend, with no real good documentation of ever having occurred. But if it did occur, injury to the human would most likely be from tearing of the rectal/colonic tissue by the hamster, which could perforate the colon, leading to peritonitis and death. Alternately, tearing of the tissue could lead to significant blood loss.
Thanks for the information. What about oranges in a bag? I’ve heard first hand accounts of the soap in the sock myth from military men who claimed to have witnessed it. So then, is it possible that it doesn’t leave as visible as bruise?
Some people can bruise from a finger flick, what ever gave you the idea soap, or anything else wouldn’t leave a bruise? Most blows given to the shit-head recipient of a good old “blanket Party” are delivered to the torso, bruising is covered up. Full Metal Jacket was so very accurate. the blowhard that got it in my basic training company howled just like that.
