Thought I’d wait before posting this, so there are no spoilers. Although, despite the advertisements, this show isn’t exactly “The Sopranos”. 
Just in case, I put a warning in the title.
Flower is dead. She gave her life defending her pups from a cape cobra that had crawled in the burrow. In her four years as the Whiskers’ leader, the clan has expanded into the largest one in the region, with some 40 individuals. The leadership collar goes back to Rocket Dog, although, since she has lost her pups, she will have competition from her sisters, Maybelline and and Daisy, who are pregnant.
Also complicating things is Zaphod, Flower’s partner, who according to the previews for next week’s show, is refusing to leave the group. Of course, since whichever of the sisters ultimately becomes dominant will have to choose an unrelated mate, Zaphod will have to lose his position as dominant male, and it doesn’t look as if he’ll go quietly.
It should be an interesting show in the upcoming weeks as the group’s dynamics change.
