The new season of Meerkat Manor – or, “next generation” as they’re calling it – is on Animal Planet now.

This is apparently all over the fan boards, so I don’t think it’s a spoiler – why did they get rid of Sean Astin? Think of him what you will as an actor; he was a great voice for that show.

That show is strangely addicting. I don’t know why he left, but presumably it was on his own accord. You just don’t fire the fat hobbit.

I thought he was killed when CTU was locked down.
