And I thought the Vancouver mascots were ridiculous looking. Yes, nothing says “Canada” like stupid-looking anime. At least we didn’t have Kodos and Kang.

The first association I made with London and cameras was the swarms of CCTV cameras everywhere, and I would have thought that that was the sort of thing you’d want to downplay.
Then I realized it referred to photographing London’s landmarks and scenery, so it takes on more of the character of a cruel joke.
They kinda look like the two ends of an airline seat belt.
If the seatbelt was staring at you.
Maybe they are the creepy staring Geico Money’s ugly cousins?
Most Olympics mascots are inane. These are terrifying. Especially the one on the left. It looks like a Lovecraftian nightmare, one of the Great Old Ones come back to consume the souls of young athletes.
Honestly, just… like, what the fuck, huh? After the travesty of their Games logo, they came out with this?
