So, for those who attend meetups; what have you noticed about gender ratio? In my area, San Antonio, TX, it seems to be predominantly women attending (unless it is a male only group).
So, what about yours?

Depends on the group. ‘South Podunk Knitters’ is likely to have more females than 'North Podunk Skeet Shooters"
The Strategy Board Game meetup I’m in skews male, but is probably better ratio than board gamers in general. (of the most recent 20 visitors it is 11 male, 9 female - the overall ratio is not that even)
The Outdoor adventures meetup has probably more female members (of the two events I’ve been to there have been more women)

Oddly enough, most of the literature meet ups in the DC area I have been to tend have more men than women. The cycling groups for casual riders can go either way - but generally have an even mix.
With one of the lit groups I go to, I noticed an odd trend that developed over a few months. Originally when the group started you had a wide range of ages and genders; after a while though, the only people that were attending were women in they 20’s and men in their mid forties and older.
I’m neither of those, so I started feeling a little out of place. Eventually I stopped going, the group had different vibes than the other ones.
