Meineke Sucks More Than a Whore on a Saturday Night

My accord’s (91) axleshafts needed to be replaced. I bought remanufactured axles. Brought them to Meineke, had them installed for 100 bucks. Great.

Flash forward to two weeks later. Right axleshaft pops. Almost destroys my tranny. I am a novice mechanic, so I take my car back to my garage. I buy ANOTHER replacement part. I take off the wheel. Two things bother me.

  1. The axle nut is the same as the original.
  2. The shaft is completely rusted on the exterior.

So I was dumb, and didn’t look at the cores they gave me to return to the place I bought the replacements.

In short, they installed one side, not the other. Gave me the original part, and took my cash. I would like to do very mean things.

I haven’t done anything about it yet though…

That sucks so bad it makes a black hole look like a hooker with a mouth full of novocaine.

Meineke is like a hooker, you’re not gonna pay a lot, but you’ll get a lot…of Venereal Diseases!!!

Sorry, but the reality is most really good mechanics are in private shops, or in dealerships.

I’ve heard many horror stories from people who went for the cheap, and spent more before it was all said and done.

Find an honest shop, based on referrals, and pay for quality, IMHO.

Sold you your own part! Bullshit. Meineke is a muffler joint anyway. Why did you take your car to a muffler joint?

They need to teach car mechanics in school and require all boys to take the course (girls an elective, but if they seem poor and homosexual encourage them).
