What’s the difference?

I was curious about this myself shortly after the subscription system went live. It was answered in some thread in this forum. You can search if you want. As I remember it, the answer was that titles are updated after the user logs in. So people who posted before the subscription service went live, and haven’t logged in since then, still have the old title of “member”, as they never got updated to “guest”.
I suspect you’re right; everything else on the board, it seems to take logging in and making a post before changes become evident.

So what is the designation for people who sign up now that the “Charter Member” period is over? Will they show as “Member” or something else?
They are still Charter Members. Here is an example:

Actually, you should all be “members.” Those of you that have paid, of course; everyone else is a guest.
Some tweaking appears to be in order.
We’ll get you straightened out here.

Tonight mine still says “Charter Member” and Guinastasia’s says “Member”.
Just an FYI.
