Men, ever seen a guy harassed about his penis in the toilet/showers?

Why would anybody judge somebody by their flaccid size? Who cares what size it is when it’s flaccid, it is when its hard that matters.

Not if you just want to be unpleasant to someone and ostracize him. Then it works just fine.

Also, pointing out that “it’s when it’s hard that matters” would be very, very unlikely to be pointed out by a schoolboy when talking about another.

Cause when it matters it isn’t flaccid.
BTW they called me tripod.

I’m not circumcised and I experienced some minor locker room harassment about it when I was a kid. I’m 30 now. We didn’t have communal showers in Jr. or High school. This would have been when I was younger. Changing into swim trunks at summer camp, I believe.

It didn’t happen a lot, and while I remember it was upsetting at the time, it doesn’t stick with me. But it does happen at least some.

I went to an all boys school. We didn’t have comunal showers but still, commeting on a guy’s penis was not OK, ever. It was 2:1 circ/non-circ, but no one would’v ever thought of teasing about that.

I think there’s a big difference over the last 40 years. Not only have communal showers and locker rooms become much less common, but (as best as I can determine) there’s now incredible self-consciousness about sexual subjects and extreme worry about anything that even hints at “homo.”

Back in the late 60’s and early 70’s I saw it happen in Junior High school in the US midwest on a regular basis. A lot of the boys who had not really hit full puberty yet got grief.

Because many, if not most, middle school and high school boys aren’t sexually confident enough to talk about another dude’s dick out loud in public-- too much risk of having the taunts turned around on him (“Fag!”). It’s much less risky to say “Did you see Dave’s funky-ass dick? With the brown skin hanging off it?” to a buddy or two in private.

No, never, even in a relatively raunchy boarding school dorm’s communal showers for four years. Much more of a Hollywood thing.

Now, that kid who inadvertently pooped a little in the shower when he just thought he was going to fart? He got teased.

Do you give rides in your time machine?

I’m pretty sure making fun of some guy’s penis would be admitting you looked at another guy’s junk. While I’m sure there are certainly “out” gay bullies, most of the bullies I’ve met would probably be too afraid of being labelled a fag to admit to such an act.

Most boys were circumsized when I was a kid and I’m not. I never had a single comment. So there’s that.

I’m not a man, but in high school there were occasional nasty rumors about a guy’s dick if he happened to spurn a popular chick. Of course nobody could verify that he actually had a small penis, but the truth doesn’t even register compared to the rumor mill.

I didn’t even really know what circumcision was until a fairly late age. I saw my step dad naked on plenty of occasions and never noticed his anatomy was different than mine.

And even now, while its obvious for the “showers” with long penises when flaccid in porn where that’s a job requirement, with the more realistically proportioned “grower” penises you might find on your average Joe in a locker room, it’s not immediately apparent unless you take a good look. And even then, for smaller flaccid dicks, even circumcised men can have some loose skin when it’s not hard.

I’m sure there are exceptions, but it never happened in my experience, and it seems likely to me to be pretty rare.

In the U.K it’s opposite. Uncircumcised is the norm here. I do recall the instance of one classmate getting a few jabs for being circumcised. Years down the line, all of which bringing intense pain for me due to a tight foreskin i decided to get circumcised - this being one the best decisions i have made. But it was this that made think “Why is it the opposite in America?” …can anyone answer that?

When I had gym in high school in the early 90s I never used the showers, and never saw anyone else using them either. So no opportunities to comment on someone’s schlong.

Nope.

I played three sports in high school, one in college, and currently play in a adult men’s league. I’m 28.

Here’s an overview: Circumcision - Wikipedia

I never heard any comments about a guy being uncircumcised, although in my naivete I remembering thinking something like: “What happened to that guy? Did he get a door slammed on his wang or something?”

On the other hand, there was a guy who got stuck with the nickname “Boner” in our school too.

I don’t recall any taunting about size or circumcision status in junior high or high school. I was in fact teased and bullied as a kid, but different rules seemed to apply in the locker room. Penises were off limits even to the bullies.
