The above column says that men don’t fall asleep after sex.
However, I know from experience that I do fall asleep immediately after sex.
In fact, I have just woken up from sex induced sleep less than 30 minutes ago.
It is as if I have been drugged, and if I stay lying down there is NOTHING anyone can do to keep me awake.
This is not the case after masturbation, and seems to happen most after particularly vigorous sex. The interesting part is that it’s not easy for me to sleep. I love to stay up late. I have never fallen asleep during a situation where I need to stay awake, no matter how tired I am.
Does anyone else agree that there is more to sleep after sex than just coincidence?
Like maybe all-powerfull-mind-stopping-crazy-sleep-inducing-knock-out-chemicals?
