If you can call it “fashion”.
First there were sidewalls and goatees. That lasted way too long. Then Bald with goatees. That lasted way, way too long, and is still around. So now I’ve been seeing bald with goatee and accented with this (and similar) accessory. Picture a baldy dome poking out the top. 
Sheesh!
Urrrgh. Imagine the tan line Mr. Baldy would receive.
