The retailers are turning me into a Christmas hating grinch more and more every year. Every store that I have been in recently (house guests visiting, I am NOT a shopper as a general rule) including Kohl’s, Ollies, Target, Garden Ridge, Bed, Bath and Beyond and Walmart has Christmas crap on display. Not even the end of September. Can’t we just, I don’t know, SKIP Christmas this year? Maybe next year too.

When I was a kid working retail I had to listen to the store play X-mas songs from: Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Beach boys, and other assorted excuses to hang yourself.

As an adult I worked in a freight company that took on Postal Contracts for Christmas. I would rather have listened to the Chipmunks.
