Merry Crispness to All!

For all the Og-thankers who are tired of “Happy Holidays” or “Seasons Greetings”, let’s propose alternatives. My submission is “Merry Crispness”. It welcomes the cooler climate (a crispness in the air). It evokes bacon. It can be used earlier in the year and retailers love that. It also sounds enough like “Merry Christmas” to force a double-take or two and I think we all secretly enjoy that.

Teeming millions, what say you?

What about folks in the Southern Hemisphere? It’s Spring/Summer there now.

How about we respect people enough to express wishes to them in a manner appropriate to their culture and religion?

This.

I don’t ascribe to any particular religion, but I wish my Jewish friends happy Hanukkah, my Christian friends merry Christmas, etc.
