Merry Waddever

What could be more mundane, pointless…or shareable than the gaggle of solsticial celebrations? (I think I made up two new words and misspelled 'em both).

Waddever your theological disposition, or lack thereof, as a nice Jewish boy from Nazareth woulda said, if he spoke Hebrew:

“Shalom Alekhem”.

Peace on Earth, good will toward men (and wimmin too). And, for your dining and dancing pleasure, the one Christmas song you won’t hear at your local community carol sing:

Pax Vobiscum, Y’all

Good poem/song, thanks.

There was a great line on a recent Simpsons as Krusty closed his non-denominational holiday special with a “merry christmas, happy hanukkah, kwazy kwanza, something something tet and a solemn and dignified ramadan.”

They don’t call me the colonel because I’m some dumb ass army guy.
