Metro-North crash and derailment in Bridgeport

Looks like a southbound train derailed, and a northbound train on the opposite track struck it.

Lots of injuries but no deaths reported, fortunately.

CTPost has lots of pictures of the carnage.

Metro-North trains aren’t supposed to get into such shenanigans. This is the first collision in more than 20 years.
