I don’t think they’re his kids. Look at the girl’s hair… if she were half Michael Jackson, you would expect it to be somewhat kinky. Instead it’s fine and only slightly wavy. Same with the boys’ hair.
God he is so creepy. Why the heck is he in a wheelchair? I feel so sorry for the kids.
btw, is there a definitive answer on how this formerly black man became white? How did his skin turn so pale? Are there any other examples of a black person turning white like this?
There is a man–Lee Thomas-- a newscaster in Detroit, Michigan who has vitiligo–which causes the loss of pigment in his skin. He appeared on Dateline or 20/20 or one of those types of programs, which is why I knew about him. There was a time when he wore heavy makeup all the time and never went anywhere but to and from work, now he only wears makeup at work–the newscaster thing-- and accepts being a blotchy half black, half white guy the rest of the time.
Now, unlike Michael Jackson, Lee Thomas has not had plastic surgery, and generally comports himself like a normal human being.
I see the situation as less “creepy” and more “sad.”
I don’t think he’s right in the head, but I don’t think he’s a monster. I think he loves his children. Are they his biological kids? I dont’ think we’ll ever know. They look “normal”…as normal as anyone can look. They are 2nd generation “under the microscope” kids, albeit for different reasons. I hope they are able to lead somewhat normal lives as they grow up. I don’t care what their bio background is as long as they’re happy.
Thomas says he can vouch for Jackson’s condition, based on his research and experience. Apparently the disease (which is autoimmune) affects the extremities first, starting on one hand, then moving to the other, as well as the feet. He infers that that’s probably why Jackson started wearing one glove, then eventually started wearing two.
It then moves to the face, around the mouth, nose and eyes, which is probably why Jackson wore the mask, as opposed to being afraid of germs, which was speculated. And one of the legitimate treatments for this condition is chemical depigmentation (or bleaching) of the skin, which is the other thing Jackson was “accused” of doing in order to become white.
Especially for someone in the entertainment industry, for whom image is very important, it can have devastating psychological effects. I have no doubt that having this condition, and especially not being believed about it, had a major impact on Jackson becoming so “wacko”.
Well, if he had come out and shown himself to the public, and not gone crazy with the surgeries, people would have certainly believed him. Nobody doubts Thomas after all.
I don’t know. Blanket (the kid at the bottom) looks like he might have a very small amount of black ancestry, but I’d say it’s more likely Latino blood, based on his hair. His two older siblings look 100% white to me. As I said before, I think Jacko used sperm donors.
Here’s a thought: is it possible that Michael Jackson is physically unable to have children? Maybe as a side-effect of some medical procedure gone bad? That could certainly cause psychological damage, and would explain why he used unorthodox methods to have a family.
My father was Maori, and my mother is of European descent, English mostly. I have a brother and two sisters. All four of us siblings have the same parents, but none of us look like each other, and none of us look like our parents, and more importantly none of us look Maori. We do have similar cheekbones, but that’s my mother’s mother’s family.
She’s the mother of the first two. I don’t think Jackson’s ever revealed the identity of Blanket’s mother. It could be Rowe, but I believe they were already divorced by then.
White (as in Caspar since birth) WASP girl checking in–but I also have vitiligo. Vitiligo for me appeared shortly after my oldest child was born (18 years ago)–and I am finally coming to grips with it, ie, not looking at myself in summer with loathing. It is devastating to body image and self esteem. Couple that with the general jerkitude of people (I have had people refuse to shake my hand because they think I’m contagious) and I have to say that life is more difficult now.
I have some (not a lot) of sympathy for Jacko, but cannot but feel that if he had only come clean from the get go, a lot of the media nonsense (and people’s leeriness) would not have come about. He could have done much good for vitiligo sufferers–especially black ones.
All that said, my bone structure didn’t change, nor did my hair texture etc-- and I would think that there would be some trace of him or his family (sometimes my daughter looks more like my sister than me; my youngest son looks likes my MIL etc) present, but perhaps not. My opinion is that whether they are his “blood kin” or adopted-- either way, they are bound to have er, issues, given a father who (IMO) is mentally ill, reclusive, supposedly broke and a suspected child molester. But that’s just me.
Maybe Michael has vitiligo, but vitiligo does not turn you into Jack the Pumpkin King. The guy simply does not enjoy being a black man, plain and simple. He uses vitiligo as a convenient excuse. Plenty of black people have coped with the disease without bleaching their entire bodies. How is it that they can do it but Michael with all his money can’t?
Those are not his biological children. I’ve seen black people give birth to passable-as-white people–I have several cousins that attest to this. But usually when this happens, the black parent has considerable white ancestry. I’m not sure about the Jackson pedigree–and certainly they aren’t 100% west African (Latoya has always been light-skinned…though I think she’s bleached herself too). But I’m not thinking they have enough white in their woodpile to create three white-looking children. Especially since the other Jackson biracials clearly look biracial.
The truth about Michael and his disturbed (though talented) mind will come out one day.
Presumably there is, and presumably she’s named on it, but Jacko hasn’t shared that information with the public.
Where I live, access to birth certificates is restricted for 80 years after the date of birth for privacy reasons. I assume it’s similar in the US? If so, the only people who could get a copy of the certificate are Jackson, the birth mother and Blanket (whose real name is Prince Michael Jackson II, IIRC).
Is it the woman in the light coloured trousers who’s the non-sibling?
I agree that the dark haired bloke is a bit of an outlier, but the fair haired bloke and the women on each end look reasonably similar to me. And that solid bone structure looks a little Maori-esque to me - though obviously the pigmentation is not!
They probably touched up the photos to hide any zits, moles, or other skin blemishes that might have been present, but I strongly doubt that they darkened their skin or altered their facial structure for a publicity photo.
My point is that the “real” Michael Jackson has African facial features, and a medium brown skin color. He does not have European facial features and white skin. Those are the result of cosmetic procedures, and will not be passed on to his chldren. Jackson is not so light-skinned that it’s feasable that his kids might look white. His natural children, with a white mother, would be light-skinned, but still definitely African-American.
