You’re a little late, Michael Jackson died just over a year ago. He was a well-loved figure in the beer and whisky community, and will be deeply missed.

Most of the time, I find I agree with you on a lot of things, Annie, but I can’t get behind this. Yeah, he’s a probably pedophile, and just a damn weirdo, but I can’t get all Nelson Muntz on somebody who probably has a fatal lung disorder and has a very limited time to live.
It just seems way too callous.
Yeah, I’ll admit it: I don’t wish bad luck on anyone, but there is a very short list of famous people I will “HA! ha!” when it happens to them. The top three are OJ, Jackson, and Woody Allen. It’s one thing to act like an asshole, it’s another to say “I didn’t do it.”
Now, if you’ll excuse me, my callous ass has to update her Celebrity Deathpool 2009 list.

Somehow it’s possible for me to find him both pitiable and repulsive. So I will probably shed a tear when he dies.
I imagine his life was been pretty miserable for long time, even without the health problems.
He left some fine music behind, and some good memories. My kids and I spent a lot of time in front of the TV when the Thriller video first aired. IIRC, MTV played it over and over, and every time it came on, we’d yell “It’s on again!”
Talented and warped. It is sad. I put him in the same category as Elvis – someone who needed a real friend, someone he trusted enough to tell him the truth, keep him grounded, guide him down a different road. But Elvis didn’t hurt anyone but himself.

Oh, wonderful. Hopefully he’ll make it until January 1st, so the TV isn’t flooded with Michael Jackson memorial crap during the holidays.
His relationship with adopted daughter Dylan was creepy and bordered on pedophilia. And fucking your children’s sister is creepy, and marrying her is creepier.
Allen denied the abuses and felt there was nothing inappropriate with his relationship with Soon-Yi. He attacked Mia Farrow as an “unfit mother,” and claimed her household was more of an “orphanage” where she treated her biological and adopted children differently.
If he truly is a pedophile and has done the things to kids that I think he’s done, then if he were to die a more slow or miserable death that still wouldn’t be enough. If it took him 20 years of living in a slow misery, that just isn’t enough. Fuck him.
If he is innocent and hasn’t touched a child inappropriately, then I do feel bad for him and hope he pulls through. But somehow I highly doubt that he is, in fact, innocent.
Like develop a protein deficiency? 
I mean, hey I don’t know what the real story is, but the article says he’s got an inherited condition. I’m not saying I know that’s the god’s honest truth, but I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he’s not killing himself for publicity.

And you know that … how? Pretty much all we know for sure is that Woody married Soon Yi. Any other information is the result of a public slanging match calculated to make the other party look bad.
Creepy shit happens. I’d need more than “creepy” to pass judgment. So far as I’m concerned, Mia Farrow is creepy too.
I see no reason to believe Mia Farrow’s propaganda while disbelieving Woody’s propaganda. Did you see any of this with your own eyes?
