No, it is not enough. A little credible evidence would help, though.
Would all the people posting here who have been molested, or know a family member who has been molested, please raise your hands?

One crazy woman? How about Jay Leno and the other celebs who said she never asked for money? How about the other people who saw the guy showering with kids with no bathing suits? How about the stewardesses who saw him giving kids wine? How about…
Oh forget it. It’s all futile. Send your little boy to Neverland and don’t bother to pack pajamas!
What kills me is that now all those psycho fans are validated in their worship of MJ, who is, of course, one BILLION percent innocent, and the one true source of light and purity and yadda frickin’ yadda. And MJ does not give two hoots in a hollow for them. Nor, I suspect, for anyone besides himself.
Well, I hope his career is over. I was looking forward to seeing him lose Neverland, but maybe it’ll happen anyway. He’s so deeply in debt, and I hope it gets worse.
“Everyone” does not know he’s guilty.
I think Jackson has some very serious mental problems, and he may have even committed acts of child molestation, but the prosecution’s case was too weak to prove it.
I think it’s unfortunate, however, than Jackson won’t be forced to receive some counseling, which he so desperately needs. I think these verdicts send a message to Jackson that it’s OK to behave the way he has and I think he’s likely to continue his inappropriate behavior toward children.
Because when you strip away the weirdness factor it boils down to the testimony. You can’t convict a guy for being weird, but only for specific crimes, by convincing the jury that he committed them, and at the times and places specified in the indictment. Kids in bed…yes that’s really weird, but if there’s no sexual activity it’s not a crime (I think).
Well, what do you know. I have to go eat my shoes, now, as promised.
You know what else makes me angry?
‘Thriller’ is an awesome album. Really, truly very good. And I can’t ever listen to it and enjoy it, now that I know so much about the man who made it.
I miss the guy I thought was Michael Jackson.
Oh please. He fits the profile of a molestor TO A TEE. Child erotica (that’s just subtle enough NOT to be illegal). Always hanging around boys. Not girls, not even children, BOYS. And most of them are the same age and look the same.
His home is like a kiddy diddler’s paradise. Multiple accusations throughout the years. ADMITTING he sleeps in bed with children.
Didn’t Jay Leno say he thinks Jackson is pedophile, but is innocent of these charges?
I was under the belief that there were girls at Neverland also? Wasn’t the accuser’s sister there?
I think he’s a child molester.
I think the prosecution’s case was weak and their prime witnesses got ripped to shreds in cross-examination.
I think he might be convictable, but this case wasn’t the one to do it with.
I think he’ll offend again, and buy off his victims and their families more easily now that he’s survived this trial.
I think it sucks, and that it comes as no surprise.
I’ve heard that he’s planning to leave the country, so evidently he’s learned not to sleep with little American boys…
You see, this is why you wouold make a crappy juror, you can’t even pay attention to the testimony:
EXACTLY! That’s the worst part-watching those lunatics-many of whom are probably crazier than he is-watching them gloat and cheer and scream at everyone who thought he was guilty.
And I don’t care if the mother was messed up-that doesn’t mean the boy wasn’t molested. Often, pedophiles target these types of families.
DiosaBellissima-only occassionally. Most of the time, it’s young boys hanging out with him.
I’m thinking Thailand . . .
There are plenty of guys who fit the profile of a serial killer too, but that doesn’t mean that they are. It’s not enough to convict the guy.
I think everyone can agree that the guy is bizarre beyond comprehension and acts extremely inappropriately. I’m just of the opinion that that is not enough to convict someone. I still wouldn’t let my son spend the night, but that doesn’t mean I’m certain he’s a child molester. If the verdict was guilty, I would feel certain. But a jury found him not guilty so I can’t be certain.
I’m not sure why it matters but here you go.
::raises hand::
ETF got it right. I did think there were holes on the alcohol and conspiracy charges but that the molestation was as sure as you can get without a video camera running.
The next kid MJ molests–and there will be more–will have to listen to him whisper if he cries, “Nobody will believe you…you know that now…nobody will ever believe you.” And they’ll be right.
Sick , sick , sick . Whacko Jacko got away with it AGAIN . What is it gona take … photographic evidence of him with his dick shoved up some some boy’s ass ??? I simply cannot believe this . Wonder how much the jurors are gettin’ for this verdict ?
I think they meant by Michael Jackson in particular.
