Michael Moore claims to have "director's cut" of Nicholas Berg video

Michael Moore is innocent of any wrongdoing here. In fact, I’m betting the reason the footage wasn’t released was because Moore couldn’t aptly re-edit the footage to completely twist what Mr. Berg actually said. Nothing bad.

Oh, I’m drawing all sorts of conclusions.

Most of 'em aren’t about Michael Moore, though.

And no reading skills to rack up 800 odd.

You were wrong on all accounts it now seems. Oh well, thems the breaks when you rush to get a PIT thread before all the others Moore fans.

I’m positive Moore will do something soon that you can actually PIT him for.

Can’t wait

:wally

Chastain, how the fuck did you get any of those impressions from that article? The title includes the word “Interview,” the article calls it an interview, and the quote “later beheaded in Iraq” makes it obvious it’s not footage of the fucking beheading. If you read before you pit, you’re much less likely to look like a jackass.

You asked

So I have to ask, in addition to not reading the article you linked to, do you not read your own damn posts? Your OP said

The answer is that he hasn’t, especially given the footage won’t be in the movie.

Later, you said

And the answer was that it had nothing to do with him. And you did misuse the phrase ‘begs the question.’

I conclude this is the worst pitting I’ve ever seen. Like him or not, every single thing you said about Moore so far has been completely wrong. Maybe that’s why people are flaming you. I don’t think who’s actually bothered read the whole story could possibly criticize Moore for his role in it.

By the way, Sam, the article also seems to say that the interview was apolitical (and Berg’s own brother says that while he supported the war, he wasn’t a political guy).

Although there is no evidence that Moore will use this Berg footage, F911 may or may not be in its final cut. I have read on Moore’s site that he is trying to negotiate and retain the right to edit the movie or change it up to the last moment before distribution so that any timely event or addition of historical relevance can be included. I’m sorry that I can’t provide a cite, as the link to where I read this is broken at the moment.

He’s said his contract specifies that he can.

That sounds pretty unambiguous to me.
