Well, I for one have no problems with gun-owning Christians. I grew up in a family of gun-owning Christians. Some of my favorite people are Christians, gun-owning or otherwise. Those people though, tend to actually live by Christ’s teachings, love thy neighbor, help the poor, blessed-are-the-meek-believing supporters of the separation of church and state types. Not hypocritical assholes who preach hate, intolerance and bigotry, and who want everyone to live by Christianity-imposed rules.

Neither exactly. All liberals do not feel the same thing, but as a generality I think it’s fair to say that the left disrespects Christianity and looks down upon those who practice it. I thought you could infer as much from the reference in my previous answer.
