I heard from a reliable source in Washington this weekend that Michelle Bachmann was born in Canada, making her inelligible to run for President.
Since this is a statement intended in jest and has absolutely no factual basis, I believe that we should take it as truth and inform the deluded people around us about this conspiracy.
Who wants to join me, and what other US politicans were not born outside of this country but in the internet world actually were? And we need details. Juicy, juicy details.
She’s just claiming to be a Minnesotan. I use to live there and Minnesotans were hard to distinguish from Canadians. I bet she moved there so she’d blend in better and be harder to out as not being a Real American!
Not a joke, just pointing out that being born abroad with parents who are US citizens almost always makes you a natural born US citizen and thus eligible for the Presidency.
I didn’t see the WH Correspondent’s dinner so I didn’t get the reference.
Well, it may have started off as a joke, but actually…
I talked to a guy whose uncle knew some folks in Manitoba who swear that they knew Michelle Bachmann’s parents who lived on a farm near them in Piney Manitoba. Her parents were Canadians, and Michelle was born in nearby Steinbach.
Shortly after her birth, her parents moved to Rousou Minnesota and worked as undocumented farm laborers. They were able to get a birth certificate for her in a scheme with a certain unnamed political operative who was (shall we say) fairly high up in the State Legislature.
Her back-story of being born in the United States to US citizens has been carefully formulated over the years. It is really just a house of cards though, ready to be exposed by anyone who has the guts to do a real investigation.
This could all be resolved if we could just see Bachmann’s birth certificate and high school permanent record. Long form of both, obviously - and I’ll know if it’s fake because in 1956 you didn’t get “Female” on your birth certificate, but “Future Wife” - “Future Secretary” in the more progressive states.
“Future Farmer’s Wife of America” was an acceptable alternative in Minnesota. I was born in the Midwest, so I know this. Release the paperwork, Bachmann!
