Tied for the lead after 2 of 5 rounds.
The first 20 qualify.
So how is she gonna screw this up now?
Plus, now that she is 19 I don’t feel like such a lech!

Yeah, the last thing she needs is a horny hedgehog stalking her.
I want to see her come back and succeed big just to get in the face of all the naysayers.
Maybe she will earn it this time. She was handed a great opportunity and screwed it up.
Spiny Norman is stalking Michelle as well?!
She was a 16 year old kid, cut her some slack.
She competed then. She has not in quite a while. Although I wonder if growing to nearly 7 ft tall changed her swing much.
Lost a little ground - in 3d after an even par round today.
Still 7 shots ahead of 20th place with 2 rounds to go…
Thought the hedgehog’s name was…nevermind. :smack:
You got a cite for that?

I was under the impression that this was the LPGA Q School and not the PGA Q School. I don’t recall many people questioning her abilities to play on the women’s tour; it was more about her taking sponsorship exceptions while being unsuited to compete in PGA events that was the problem.
I hope she qualifies, and has a great career. I would hate to be held accountable for ever dumb thing I did as a teenager (or 20 year old, or 21 year old, or 22… you get the idea).
Who else would you hold accountable?
She held promise but seemed to fall apart in womens tourneys. You can argue about her playing in mens opens ,if you wish but that misses the point. She was competitive when she went out but got farther and farther back.
Both tours’ Q-schools are this weekend.
Without looking them up, I think the year before last she had top-10s if not top-5s in at least 2 or 3 of the women’s majors. Not bad for a teen. At 19 she still is poised to be one of the youngest - if not the youngest - to win on the LPGA.
404 | LPGA | Ladies Professional Golf Association That ship has sailed. She is just another player now until she proves otherwise.
That’s your cite? You’re kidding, right? That proves she is nearly seven feet tall? That is absolutely ridiculous.
Oh. so you do get it.
My girl comes back strong with a 68, standing tall in 2d at -14. 10 strokes ahead of the folks currently tied for the last spot.
Will be quite a challenge to screw this up. It’s not as tho she was ever foolish enough to get DQed from a tourney, tho!
I’m very pleased to see that Anna Rawson is within the cutoff for a tour card. The LPGA might get some TV time with Wie and Rawson in the field.
She is tall and I have read experts say that her changing height results in swing changes. During different times her club lengths may have been wrong for her. That is the point,
Michelle T7, Anna Rawson (Yowza!) T12.
Brings a little sunshine to this dreary winter day!
