I was planning to bring my digital camera along, and now I’ll be sure to do so. After all, someone’s going to have to document whatever the hell it is you’re going to do to thinksnow…and I get the feeling that they won’t develop those shots at Meijer’s!

Well, it doesn’t matter if it rains or not. I rented a huge party tent for the occasion. Even as I type, I have contractors out back putting on a new deck so we’ll have PLENTY of room to party. There will also most likely be a volleyball net here so feel free to get drunk and play

Hey, would it be possible for those of you bringing your SO’s and/or kids to let us know? Just so we can get a more accurate headcount–and to make sure we’ve got the right falvor barbecue sauce. There’s only one or two flavors that taste good on children, and I want to make sure we’ve got the right kind.
at this point, SO would be very unlikely to be there (he sleeps during the day), son??? I dunno. He’s having sinus surgery on Wednesday, I suspect he’ll still be feeling not so hot, and may have a swollen face (that’s my story, I"ll be sticking with it, to explain all the bruising and so on. ). So doubtful on his end, as well. YOu’ll have to make do with just me.
I was thinking about bringing a bowl of teriaki tofu pasta salad (no, really, it’s good! Lowfat! Stop looking at me like that!) Does that sound good to anyone at all, or should I set my sights on something else? Or are we going to be okay on side dishes? God knows we’re set for life meatwise…
I know I promised to bring real Canadian beer to the party, but I still haven’t had a chance to get over there to get it. I can’t make any promises, but I’m going to try to get over to Windsor sometime this weekend.
Regarding my children, I have a babysitter for the two younger kids, but I might end up bringing the two older boys. They are 13 and 10, so they behave reasonably well on occasion. As far as I know, my SO still plans on attending with me.
Sure, bring the side dish. I guess we have to have SOMETHING besides meat
I’ve already picked up a case of Foster’s and a case of Molson Ice so if y’all want a certain type of beer, let me know SOONEST. Kids are, of course, welcome as I have three myself so they’ll probably be able to find something to do.

Feel free to bring any and all side dishes your heart desires. We also accept beer if you feel like lugging some with you but it isn’t necessary

Being Wednesday, I’m making some MORE beef jerkey. This time, it’s been marinated in molasses and brown sugar as well as curing spices for the last 24 hours. Should be good…
