That quotes the official positions of both the proponent and major opponent. Pretty hard in a case like this to find anything that really is unbiased. I’m a Michigander. In a nutshell, this proposal limits gambling to what is currently allowed, and requires any changes to be approved both statewide, and locally where the gambling would take place. That statewide vote requirement would likely kill off any attempt to expand gambling beyond the types currently allowed.
