using Excel 2007
Is there a way to change the default web page in the “Get External Data from Web” when importing data from a web page.
Every time I use this function is goes to some AOL page that has no recognizable data to import.
I know I can do it with my own VB program, but I am hoping for an easier way.

I think you edit the data sources like so:
Microsoft support is here to help you with Microsoft products. Find how-to articles, videos, and training for Microsoft 365, Windows, Surface, and more.
It uses the default home page from your internet options.
The way to change this differs based on the system you’re using, but since it’s basically an instance of Internet Explorer, going to IE settings will work.
Disgscen:

This solved my problem thanks. I don’t use IE at all anymore, its so slow. Changed its home page without a lot of graphics.
Thanks.
