I had it in my laptop. I longer have it in my laptop b/c i reinstalled windows 7 in my laptop and had to wipe out everything. I did have the program saved into a usb and then installed it into my laptop. I do not have the product key anymore. I recalled back when i installed it, the key was on the paper case where i put the cd in but i cannot find this.
Is there a way to find out what is my product key? I checked the if you can’t find your product key, click on link to see how you find it but all I see is it telling you to look at the package and i threw this away a while back.
That license/product key IS your copy of office. Its toast.
if you need something to use right now you can try using open office.
Microsoft Customer Services can sometimes help out with supplying a replacement product key, but it depends on your exact circumstances. This page should be of help to you:

And…re-reading the OP, it looks like you’ve already been there. Do you still have the installation disc?
There is a way to extract the key (actually, I think 2010 will just show it to you if you select “Help” in the File ribbon), but it’s too late for that since you already wiped the drive.
Unfortunately, like Drachillix says, the key is your copy. Lose the key, and lose the copy.
Hi. No i do not have the cd anymore. I had kept most of my cds in this case where i kept a bunch of cds but i threw them out a while ago. The only cds i kept were the instatllion of windows 7 cd and the one for utilities.
I had so many cds from like webcam and wordperfect that since i had it already installed in my laptop, i just threw them away b/c i had so much cds in my drawer.
Yes i know about openoffice but does that mean my microsoft office pro 2010 is useless now? I had purchased the cd and key from ebay off of someone a while ago which was new when i got it. Thus i didn’t buy it online from amazon.com or from the online store etc. So that means its useless now? I just made sure i saved a copy of it in my usb just in case i ever needed to download it back again in case i resintalled windows but i completely forgot about the passkey. I had thought there was a passkey that was there then i just type it out since it was a really long time ago i installed the microsoft office plus 2010.
Also when i meant i reinstalled windows 7, i meant i installed a new ssd driver and replaced my old hdd drive. I still have the hdd drive still. So i could get the key back if i put in old hhd drive in and take the ssd out just to see the product key?
Put your old HDD back in. Then use a key finder utility to extract the key from the registry.
Or, turn your laptop over and see if the key is on a sticker on the bottom.
Here are some free key finder programs.
You might want to jot down your keys for other applications, Windows, etc while you’re at it.
A CD and key bought from E-bay is unlikely to have a sticker on the underside of the laptop, if you know what I’m saying
